This standard provides comprehensive guidelines for academic and student services departments, campus offices, and specialized centers (collectively referred to as “organizational units”) to embed gender inclusivity into their daily operations, practices, service delivery, and community engagement. While institutional-level policies establish the foundation for gender inclusion, the lived experiences of transgender and gender-expansive community members are often most directly shaped by their interactions with individual departments, offices, and centers.
